Hello all my name is micheal and ive decided to start a jeep build. I bought this 97 jeep cherokee about month ago for $2500. It has 3 inch lift not sure what kind,31x10.50 tires, custom steel bumpers and custom steel sliders, hella lights. It is a auto with 216k and runs out great..

-I have since bought a smittybilt hi-lift jack.
-Got items to tune her up
-Bought a swissgear backpack to keep tow straps and first aid and
other random stuff in
-And got some krylon fusion to paint my trim.

and hope to do more in as soon as fund come available.

Also reason this is (project $9) is cause the day i went and bought her i go by bank and draw out $2500 and got my bank statement and i had $9 dollars left in my savings . So i figured thats will be a good name for her project 9.

Yeah hoping to do that and tune her up this weekend when im off work..
Wondering what do people use to tape up jeep around trim so im not painting my whole jeep black? Any ideas?

 

blue home depot painters tape and newspaper...worked like a charm for me.

 

Ive also considered pulling the side trim off, seems to be peeling off at tips anyways, just worried i cant get it as white as rest my jeep if i do.

Well guys i still have the jeep and have been thinking a lot about changing some stuff on her. I really want to rub bigger tires and not sure which way i want to go to do this, Im sure with my 3 inch lift i could cut fenders and run 32''s by 11.50. But also been thinking lifting it up to a 4.5, Im not even sure what brand lift my jeep has on it just know its 3 inch lift.

 

nice ride, throw that fram oil filter in the garbage and get a purolator...seriously. I thought I needed a new motor and threw the fram out and put a purolator in..no more noise.
