Here's a great image. Simply google "short arm VS long arm lifts" and you'll get plenty of accurate information from reputable sources. Suspension geometry is a science and quite interesting.

My control arms sit at a negative/horizontal angle with my drop brackets.

Downfall is more than likely your front axle has been pulled back at least a few if not more inches. Can't achieve proper pinion/ caster angles with so much lift and short control arms. Due to the front axle pulled back your front driveshaft is now much shorter and "bottoms out". Tires will wear quicker.
Lots of down falls.
