Rear hatch inside release
After searching for a write up on this to no avail I decided to forge ahead without instructions; risky but fun😮
Removed the inside panel:
Tools needed
The little red piece is where the strap attaches. Pulling up at that point releases the latch
Inside of the hatch cover
About 8 inches above the latch
Where the strap will exit
Sewing a loop in the end of the strap. I used nylon to assure no rattles
Finished
An easy project that cost $0 and took about an hour.
