It sucks nay getting a few hours a day to work on stuff Tires and wheels look small now though debating on re gearing with a Detroit tru trac LSD out back and going 33's opinions ??
yeah those flat bushwackers make tires look small. I had 4.5 with 33s and they were stuffed and got flats and they looked so tiny. I just got 35s

All done with flares. Thinking of buying alloy wheels and 32" or 33x10.5's not 12.5's for weight reduction and less friction for mostly street use

Any opinions on alloy wheels and or tires that drive good onroad and are good on ice and snow roads

Installed new headlights and all smoked corner lenses with Amber bulbs I like the look... Time to paint the front valance black or Bedline it when I do the cooling system overhaul. Also got the front driveshaft for the hack n tap time to refinish it and rebuild.

I think it looks awesome so far loving this blue color more and more

What offset ? 15x8 with a 3.75" or 4" I think with the flares I can do a 15x8 with a 3.5 to maximize trac width and not go past flares.

I have heard and seen alot of guys say that all terrains are good in the snow. Many specifically stated BFG A/Ts. Looks good man. You should have good flex with the current setup.

Cool! I'll keep an eye out for them.

For wheels 3.50-3.75 backspacing should be good. Especially if you are going with wider tires. Style wise, these might look nice. But I realize not everyone is a fan of this look.

Ordered some gears today 4.10's front and rear along with a master install kit for each axle and a front carrier... Also got a new dana lsd for the rear.... I got it for 180$ so i figured why not its gonna be better than an open diff and its not gonna suck daily driving it in the snow... I wanted a powertrax locker but i didn't want to deal with the snow driving and issues that come with lockers... Also thought about a trutrac from eaton but for 540$ it wasnt worth it... Figured the stocker made by dana for 189 was my best bet and an improvement over an open diff

Decided against 33x10.5x15 got some 32 Kevlar MTR today it honestly looks perfect and I bumped the wheels out another 1/2 " to its excellent can't wait to gear it... I know my mods aren't to everyone's liking but I'm building it to dual purpose with a fine balance between street manners and offroad manners. I think it's excellent on road so far can't wait to trail it soon...

Also hop the flares arrived in good shape. Let me know if your satisfied

Hd alloy USA ball joints
Hd steering rod and all new steering joints
Drop Pittman arm
New steering stabilizer
Jks quick disco sway bar
3" lift zone leafs and springs
Billsteins 3100's
IRO double shear track bar
15x8 alloys with 32" Goodyear Kevlar MTR
All extended brake lines stainless and all new fluid
Rustys t case skid
Steel ares fab rear bumper
Bushwacker flats
Smoke side markers and turn signals
30% tint
Lower quarters filled bumper brackets primed and bedlined to match door lowers
Full undercoat on rust free floors
Hack and tap with front driveshaft 100% rebuilt
All new fluids
Tune up cap rotor plugs and wires
New head lights and signal bulbs
Bluetooth CD player by kenwood excelon and hertz door speakers
With 95,457 miles in the clock it's looking good and running great next to install is the Jcr front bumper and my home made trick roof rack 4/10 gears and a lsd with solid diff covers that are at the powder coater with the bumper and frame tie in brackets.

So far I'm happy but I drove a H1 today lol maybe this xj won't stay around long. :-/
