Jeep is losing coolant and i don't see coolant on the ground... Only sign I'm showing of a cracked head is I'm losing coolant. I don't know what to think. Getting a compression test this week. I don't understand how Chrysler gets away with all the reported cracked heads... No offense, but this is why American car companies don't do well. They don't care about their reputation or their customers.

Hopefully its not! if it is buy an updated one or a older style and convert your exhaust manifold to the older style.
Before you pay for a compression test, take off your oil cap and look straight down between the valves. If its cracked you should see a green line across the head. easiest check I know of. Most Don't crack into the combustion chamber so a compression check wont show anything (in most cases)
If it is it should look like this...

Parts!!! Replacing the head this Friday! Hopefully not too much damage was done. No coolant was found in the oil so it should be fine.

Job done! Jeep is running great with the help of daveVmax. Only issue was that Odessa cylinder heads sent me the wrong manifold gasket!!! Fail.

So after all this work and parts buying the jeep will be sold coming next month. I was offered a new job which is a 50 km away from my house. The jeep is not the best DD so I need a car. I don't have room or time to keep both so I am forced to sell luckily I found a clean Subaru WRX.

Hey man, you still have this thing?
Got an identical looking rig, and am wondering about trimming the fenders but I live in Toronto and don't want to get hassled...I could swear reading here that you used to be around North York; if so did cops hassle you in the city without the flares?
Thanks bud
