Default my 99xj build

so this posting of my build is way over due. i joined in august 2011, which was about a month after i got my xj. i traded my 2000 outback for it. a little about the jeep. 99xj with 145000 miles. 4x4 with auto tranny. it was completely stock when i got it, including the stereo. first week i had it the radiator plugged. took it to the shop and had a new one put in with all new piping, and a new temp. sensor.(only took it to the shop cause i didnt have a garage to use at the time) next i had a rough idle. found it to be the pre-cat o2 sensor. replaced that myself and no more problem. put new plugs, cap and new wires. installed new battery. put on some new battery terminals. this was all done in the first month. next i bought some spare rims and had new tires put on them while i sanded and painted my stock steel rims black. finished the rims and swapped back to the "new" black rims. i ripped off the plastic striping down the body and painted the rocker pannels with bed liner. swapped out the stock stereo with a new alpine mp3 head unit. put new wheel bearings in the front. installed a new valve cover and gasket to stop a leak. changed the oil filter adapter o-ring to stop a leak. put on a new magnaflow cat. put on a cat back gibson exhaust. fabbed up a k&n air intake. removed the stock fender flares and bumper corners. installed a new front bumper. put on some window deflectors. new washer pump. new stering stabilizer. had to have the tranny dropped and have a new flex plate installed and a new tranny mount. flushed the tranny and front & rear difs. thats about all i can think of but as the days pass ill update. future plans include upgraded rims, 3 or 3.5" lift, rear bumper, rock sliders, 31" or 32" tires, new gears, and the list will grow. let me know what you think.

ppl do it all the time as long as its the right lug pattern your mechanic is an r-tard...4" bs is a bit excessive 3.75" is plenty

I have soft 8's with 4 inches of backspacing and they work fine on my 3 inch lift, but they should work fine stock as long as its the same lug pattern. Correction, i have pacer 297's wich are the EXACT SAME as the soft 8, but aluminum.
