what did you do for a cage/reinforcement from cutting the roof and moving the hatch

 

the roof is pretty thin actually but there is a couple of sheet metal cross braces that i left in tact. As far as the hatch goes, once i fitted it, it was completely welded to the vehicle. all in all its probably a lot stiffer than is was before. I would like to do a cage before long though

 

That looks good, on of the better chops in my opinion. Would do the same to mine but would like a removable rear backlight.

im gonna try to reinstall a fatory roof rack shortly and build another rack for it... more storage. and get started on bumpers

 

well, its lookin like im gonna have to sell her before i get a chance to build the bumpers and wheel. everything runs/works great. lookin for 5500 obo. 740-285-4419
