I have been looking at that bumper for awhile. I am not to the stage to buy one yet but its good to see how it looks. Let me know how it does if you get a chance to use it anytime soon! It seems reasonable priced and i like the looks of it!

Found a decent roof rack from a friends Expedition. It's too big for the Cherokee, but I'll be cutting it down and re-welding it. Pic's to come-

Vehicle update-

Bumper and winch worked well. Added a 12" AuxBeam light to the bumper.

In the process of doing-
3.5" Rubicon Express superflex
Rusty's rock sliders
Rusty's Trans drop crossmember and skid plate
Rusty's Fuel tank skid plate
Rusty's front and rear diff covers (Dana 30 / Chry 8.25)
PowerTrax locker in the rear (Chry 8.25)
Smittybuilt rear bumper with swingout full tire carrier
15x8 ProComp wheels (3.75" backspace)
32x11.5 Hankook tires
Rusty's steel fender flares/body protection
Rusty's XJ steering upgrade
More AuxBeam lights, etc.

Pic's of where it's at now, almost ready to start on the cosmetic stuff-

Started cleaning up the interior and found a wet front pass side floorboard. Never thought much about why the rear window washer never squirted fluid... It was because of a leak that had it spraying under the carpet on the pass side floor board....

This is a 99' XJ, rust free vehicle. When I did the lift, I didn't brake a single bolt, not even a shock bolt. This pass side floorboard is **** though....

Jeep is back on the road. Lift, locker in the rear, rear bumper, fuel tank skid plate, transfer case skid plate, diff covers, rock sliders, body armor, new carpet (fixed the floor) 32x11.5 tires. It's been in the garage for the last few months.

Lots of little things to finish up, but very happy with it.

Id get that tire carrier if the tire didn't poke out so much from the rear window. I like everything tucked in close.

Build is coming nicely though!

I'm thinking in the future I'm going to change that. Hack everything off and weld on some new bars that move the tire closer to the Jeep. I do like that it holds the high lift jack, 5 gallons of gas, 2 gallons of water, and the spare. I agree though, sticks out too far.

Its definitely a beefy setup that carries necessities. Im interested to see how you modify it to bring it in closer.
