You can swap in 29 spline shafts and axle gears or a locker. That's what I'm doing in June. Then you have an axle that's relatively solid

U-pull has complete axle assemble for around 100 bucks. But last time I was out there all the xj where gone.

Ordered some H.D offroad engineering no lift shackle relocation brackets. But I think they might have gotten lost in the mail. They shipped really fast and delivery date was 4/25. I checked the tracking and they haven't been scanned since leaving IN on 4/23.
So I will sit and wait and see if they show up sometime this week.

 

Had a state boy stop me today. So I guess its time to order some flares. I went ahead and ordered napier's flat flares.

 

Isn't that the second time you've been stopped for that?

 

Yes it is. It's hard to spend money on flares when there are so many other parts that I need to buy. I mean want to buy.

 

Lol how far do your tires stick out?

 

Its really not to bad. I'm running 4in back spacing they probable stick out 2 or 3in out back and quite a bit more up front. Never have a problem with the city cops just state cops. He was pretty nice about it and he liked the jeep so I guess I will put flares on it. I'm really surprised he didn't check my rear bumper height.
