traded a 83 chevy k10 with transmission going out for this jeep and a 95 grand cherokee parts rig. i made out like a bandit only problem with the jeep was the famous death wobble. came with the 2 inch lift already installed

Death wobble is an easy fix.

Welcome.

I really like the sky/background in the 2nd pic.

yea it kinda was an easy fix after i replaced both hubs all the ball joints tie rod ends track bar everything under the front end. but still wobbled turns out the track bar mount was just a little loose so it would only do it at like 55 60 got all that figured out and havent had a problem.

had the stuff laying around and was board so decided to heculine the inside. then got really bored so decided to throw a turbo on the jeep figured why the hell not. whats the worst that could happen i blow the engine, i got one sitting next to the jeep in the garage thats gonna get a full rebuild maybe stroked this summer. or blow the automatic trans up thats just a reason to rebuild that too lol. after lots of tweeking finally got the turbo all mounted and blew the intake tube apart where it bolts to the throttle body so converted to the ho style throttle body and intake runs great and has tons and tons of power at 10 psi

What do you do for engine management?

Have you upgraded any fuel parts?

What turbo did you use?

How do you compensate for the need for increased fuel pressure?

What A/F ratios do you see?

im using the stock renix system, have not updated any thing yet will get some ford 5.0 injectors once i get the money, the turbo is off a 95 chevy diesel as for a/f ratios it runs a little on the lean side under heavy acceleration and as for fuel pressue i did nothing it runs great and doesnt starve for fuel at all but we will see how that changes once i get that new engine built and dropped in expecially if i do decide to build a stroker

Put a CAT sticker on that yellow engine and see how many stupid questions you get.

How are you monitoring A/F ratios?

Nice. I assume the same for a boost gauge?

Where do you get your oil source from? Do you use coolant, too?

How quick does it spool? Do you by any chance have any specs or flow charts on the turbo?

What do you use to supply the wastegate with a boost source? Does it just come off a nipple on the compressor or do you just use any vacuum line?

What about the BOV? Recirc'd or vented? What brand?

Sorry for the 20 questions, I'm putting together a setup for myself.

i got the boost gauge from harbor freight tools so it matches my oil and temp guages, just oul cooled and i put i tee where the oil sender threads in, i just used copper tubing with compression fittings, im spooled up and pushing 10 psi at about 2700 rpm need to tune it down to like 8 psi just gotta change the wasegate. im just tapped into a vacuum line off the intake, im not running a bov its not needed if your running less than 8 psi. and good luck on your turbo setup getting the exhaust to and away from the turbo is kinda a B**** but i love the power i got. will break the tires loose at 45 mph without even tring.
