idk my 99 like pounds into gear like it really has a good feel this one kinda just goes real smooth. idk if this may be the tranny being weak or? my 99 has 194k on it and it shifts like a new xj. i dont get it

 

If he swamped it there's your trans issue right there the breather for the trans isn't high up so it probably sucked in water that's why it overflowed cause it was full of water and fluids and is building excessive pressure so either remove and rebuild or replace but great deal since you knew what you were getting into

 

so since ive last posted i have installed my PA my CB an annetenna mounted through the rear tail light bolted up the last rear shock and cleaned the interior up looks pretty good now. the gear box is getting replaced either end of this week beginning of next then im gunna flush out the tranny and all should be good heres a pic of its current stage:

hahaha i would say he sank that one. theres your problem right there with the tranny. lol but hell of a good deal on it. rig is looking good.

 

$900 bucks.... rebuild everything on it, do all the upgrades and your still into the rig a couple grand. One heck of a Deal you got there. i know i bought my 90 for $900 too and it had issues but nothing a weekend of wrenching and diagnostics couldn't fix.

remeber guys they are only machines... if they breaki they can be fixed.

nah man tht came with the truck and its from 2010 they r off it now. i dont like takin it on the beach for rusting purposes. but i am down there ti go fishing alot haha ill probly cya
