when i got the jeep it had the 96 HO motor... well ding dong reused all the renix stuff... so i got a 01 intake and exhaust header (real header) from a buddy at LKQ and went to install it only to find out nothing was working right... thats when i found this out... i ended up going to the JY and pulling a fuel rail... throttle body (94)... fuel lines from frame to fuel rail... throttle cable... throttle cable bracket... and power steering bracket... this finally got me all back together... couldnt use any of the renix stuff i listed above... then i spent forever tracking down a belt to use with the renix stuff and then the new power steering pully and idler pully (idler pulleys attached to power steering brackets)... finally found it and was able to rout to make it all work perfect... as for the TB i used the 94 because the renix wire harness MAP sensor plugs right in... i cut off the TPS sensor and attached the 94 plug... thers only 3 wires... the middle to the middle... and then you just gotta figure out which outside wire goes to the other outside wire... and splice them in... JEEP RUNS GREAT WITH 94 TPS AND RENIX COMPUTER... that was the hardest part... the rest all just swapped out... even the power steering bracket just bolted right in... here are some pics of the swap... oh and also i stuck a cone filter right on top of the TB... im not finished yet but i plan to make a scoop on the hood that rotates around... open forward for "ram air" like intake and flip around when raining for a "cowl induction" style intake... also since renix the HO TB's are different this saves me from buying the whole intake setup...

Parts from the JY added up were like $65
intake and exhaust header from LKQ buddy... $40
Ford 5.0 injectors... free... from buddy who thought they were bad on his truck... was his computer...
cone filter $15
Belt... $15

thanks man... it takes along time for these parts to show up on CL and what not and ive had it almost a year now and have gotten this far... not to bad...

tomorrow im starting the second coat of bondo and trying to smooth the chop out some more before i spray the whole truck satin black... the tan just doesnt have the "cool" effect i was hoping... oh yeah and

Bondo... $20... walmart christmas gift card... so free...

forgot about my exhaust and folding the quarters... because the exhaust header was from a 01 it existed different then my old 89 exhaust which there was nothing left of anyway... it was unbolted at the cat and gone from there... so i picked up a spun converter on ebay for $40 new and i had acouple single chamber mufflers laying around that i never used for my old impala... i think i paid $35 each for them on ebay like 2 years ago... they cost me but it was kinda free also since i already had them... and i took it up to the shop and had them run me 2.5in exhaust all the way back with these... which was hell cause i had mount everything like 1/2in from the floor and 2.5in pipe doesnt really fit around the front driveshaft to well... so it took many hours and cost me a cool $175... but there really was no getting around that... i should have done it when my buddy was runnin his little shop but i didnt think it would cost me that much so i didnt worry about it like a dum dum... could have costed me nothin... but hes the same guy that works at LKQ now so i cant decide which job i like him to have better... lol... he said he can get me a AX-15 and xfer case when the next one comes through for probly $80 or $90 for both... if he does that then ill like his new job better... lol... anyways here the pics of that and the quarter fold i did... free of course... i bumped a pine tree somewhere in the woods and it kinda dented my right side anyway... and i was doing the bumper so i went ahead and did this first...
