thx guys,
i did remove the rest of the wire harness today.. So there is no more wiring anywhere hardly on the jeep..... (except for interior speakers, lights, fuel pump, tail lights etc)
also pulled the "air box" from under the dash.... i'm having a brain fart on the actual name....
so soon i'll be prepping and cleaning the engine bay to start fitting special things... like 2nd battery box, windshield washer bottle(s)... some other little things.. then gonna either bedline most of the engine bay or just re-coat it with some primer and clear to keep some areas from rusting in the future

and so today i started off with the battery tray area... all 3 bolts had broken upon removing... lol go figure, and i noticed the rust build-up.... sry no before pictures but i sanded all the rust away, popped the factory welded stud, sanded and grinded some and ended up with this....
gonna go get some hardware sometime soon and tack in some new studs for the battery tray
air intake side wasnt as bad so just some sanding and a nice coat of primer and them black gloss and it looks better already
so after placing my battery and overflow tank in i realized i'm definitely going to wait till the motor is in before i go about mounting the 2nd battery...

we've had some pretty crappy weather lately, so finally yesterday it cleared up and i got a nice start to the donor tear-down
so a few beers, a couple hours, and a couple extra cars in the driveway
threw the header panel on lose to the MJ just for kicks....
just need to get the harness out of the donor among other things, then i'll be done with tear down and finally putting some things back togethor

i didnt really "have to" but i'm going to... not a big fan of tan interior (comanche had tan interior) so the cherokee's interior (grey) is going to replace most of it.... anything that can't be swapped i'll just do some painting..

i didnt get any pics from swapping the air box out, but its fully installed now
along with the dash board, Blower motor controls, CD deck, gauge cluster, steering column
To Be Noted.... the older style break booster does not match up with the newer style break pedal.... along with that neither did any of the harness plugs (go figure) also had to swap out the steering shaft from the 95 too... comanche one was about 1.5" longer than the newer column needed..
