Thanks! Idk if you can see it well enough in the pictures, but I actually went with graphite wheels.

I love your xj, I also have a black '98 and I was wondering if it is even legal to tint your tailights? I love the look and wanna do it to mine....just dont wanna be hasseled by police...how bright are they when they are illuminated? Keep up the project...looking great man

Honestly, I'm not sure if it's legal or not. I did the recommended three coats that VHT says to do. It's dark enough, but clearly illuminates in the night. I've never had any issues with the police..yet. If visibility was an issue, I'm sure I would have been pulled over by now. I can take a night picture for you if you want to see what it looks like.

Ok, I'll take a picture tonight. If I get a set of 31's no wheels in a trade then I'll keep running the stock wheels. If not, I would like to run some JK Rubi wheels. And some that I wish I could run, but could never afford are the Argent AEV Pintlers. my absolute favorite XJ!

OH HOT DAMN lol those wheels are awesome, i kinda think some cragar soft 8-s would look good but there a bit overplayed but there price is amazing.
i cant wait to basically black out my xj, i wish it wasnt teal but maybe it will look good, once i buy it, im tinting windows, tailights, blinkers, fogs, repainting anything thats already black black again, and getting black rims, i cant wait!
