Just wanted to stop by and say that I'm loving the build so far! Check out mine...you might see some similarities! I'm hoping to do a lot of work on it this summer!
Let me begin by saying that I sold my '98 Cherokee because of many issues that it had. I hope to someday pick up a nice clean XJ Cherokee. I still come around to this forum, and look through builds, and usually when I do I do so without being signed in. This is by far one of the cleanest builds I have ever seen, so much so that I actually logged in to let you know that I love this build thread. Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys! It's a labor of love bordering on mental illness at this point. New parts should be in by next Friday, we'll see what a little shop time on Saturday results in!

A little quality time with Miss Moneypenny at the shop today. New Pro Comp leaf springs, 2" pucks in front, longer shocks and adjustable double shear track bar all installed. Ended up at 5" in the front and about 5 3/4's in the rear (as the springs settle it should sit perfect), it appears my math was all correct, you gotta love when that happens.
To any of you who have not embraced antisieze I encourage you to do so, I antisiezed everything when I first did my lift, which made the upgrades today a breeze.
Heres a before and after, first one is right after I installed my origional 3" lift and the second is of course as she sits today. Time for some bigger tires!

Thanks you guys, its been a lotta work and coin to get it to even this state. Long way to go until I'll be where I want it to be, but we'll get there. Labor of love.

Today, I swapped the factory rear brake line over to one I nabbed from the JY off of a 96 Dakota 4X4 (roughly 4-5 inches longer). Easy, cheap simple swap, I recommend it highly. Total cost of the upgrade was $4.50 and 30 minutes of my time to take it off the donor, put it on the rig and bleed the brakes.
Also took a little time today to re-adjust the track bar as the right front tire was sticking out a bit more than the left, got that squared away and double checked the alignment driveway tape measure style, toed in 1/8", she's tracking straight and true. Tommorow we hit the rocks and test all the new upgrades!
