Obviously the stock XJ tie rod sucks at life. So I decided to replace it with the much stronger v8 ZJ tie rod. Instead of being a small hollow tube, the ZJ tie rod is much bigger and its completely solid. The design is a little different as well. Instead of the whole tie rod being the adjusting sleeve, it's much like the drag link where the tie rod and end is one long piece, then it has a short adjusting sleeve, and a tie rod end.
I picked up all the necessary parts at a local O'riley store. I went with Moog because of the great quality, and the lifetime warranty is a plus.
The part numbers are:
Tie Rod: DS1312
Tie Rod adjusting sleeve: ES2079S
Tie Rod end: ES3096L
I would highly recommend replacing the drag link and rod end at the same time If you haven't done so all ready. I replaced mine a couple months ago so i just reused it. There isn't much difference between the XJ and ZJ drag link so either one will work.
Here are some comparison pics of the XJ and ZJ tie rods. The pictures don't do it much justice. The ZJ tie rod is quite a bit heavier then the XJ's, not to mention noticeably larger. I got it all painted and installed last night, and now the jeep is just sitting in the garage patiently waiting to be taken in to get an alignment hopefully this afternoon.
Overall I would recommend the ZJ tie rod for any of you still running with the stock tie rod and do any amount of wheeling. Last thing you want is to be in the middle of a trail, and bend your tie rod
Rendering your jeep useless, and ultimately putting a damper on your otherwise fun trip!

Ugh, I need to keep up more frequently. I commented back in February and then forgot. Took me over two hours to catch up.
Maybe this was answered (I'll admit, I skimmed a little) but when are you gonna replace the Milo sticker? Kinda looks empty back there without it... even with the new wiper.

To answer your question I will be going to my buddys business to get the new milo decal put on today after I get off of work! I agree, it looks way empty, and it's long overdue for a new milo decal. So hopefully everyone, including myself, likes it! I'll post pics up as soon as its done.

Well, my buddy slapped on the new Milo decal today. Not yet sure if I'm a fan yet or not. He's going to give me a few days to decide whether or not I like it, and If not he'll make another one and try again. I like the font, i think it closely resembles the old milo sticker, however I'm not sure i like it vertical.
Anyway I need your guys' help.
What do you think about the milo decal? You like it or, Lame design? Lame location? Lame color? All the above? Let me know what you guys honestly think! I'm Interested what you guys have to say, and maybe we can come up with something better based on your thoughts and opinions. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all your responses. I completely agree with you all, I don't like the decal like it is now. So I'm going to rip it off and have him remake the same decal but put it horizontal on the lower left hand corner of the window. So hopefully soon my jeep will have it's permanent identity back haha
And don't worry, I'm going to submit my jeep today in COTM when i get home from work. I figured since my birthday is on Sunday, which is the submission deadline, I wouldn't procrastinate any longer haha. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate anyone who likes "Milo" to vote for it! As always, thanks everyone for all your support. There are some great people on this forum, and my jeep would not be the way it is if it wasn't for all you guys.
