Default Made my xj a xjT!

I woke up this morning and was just in the mood for cutting so I started at about 7 this morning I haven't decided if I wanna change my cage or not yet I'll get some opinions from you guys on what you think....iv still got a Lil work to do on covering everything up but this is my start!



Bout to turn in into a XJT!




One side done




Old tool box came in good use for a tail gate




Just gotta find a way to bolt it in






It may only be 1:30 but its time for a beer!

honestly i like the full cage. You can get a net like the JK guys have and be able to retain the storage room, mounting, etc. And its different!

I kinda figured I could buy some kinda cover to snap over the rear if I ever needed too!

Thanks guys I'm gonna tub the fenders and also make them my covers for the cuts and tie my tailgate into that prolly do that on my nxt hitch in will keep yall posted!

OK so while drinking a beer I had an idea idk why I didn't think of it to begin with but I cut my hatch to use for the tail gate now

Thanks! I'm gonna get a couple 4x8 sheets of some 1/8 thick sheet metal to do my tubs and cover the cuts and also build my wall behind the seat I'm just gonna cut a hole out and use plexiglass for my rear window.
So what's you poison your drinking on?

Awesome it should turn out nice. Right now I'm drinking Mill St. 100th Meridian a lager with alot of taste.

Looks good. I like your Exo Cage. The only thing I would do differently if I were to put one on mine is to add a tube from the bottom to the top where the B pillar is. I know it can interfere with the doors if not done right.
