soak all the bolts, like now, and spray them every day until you do the lift to make sure that you don't break any of them. If you are putting in extended brake lines, don't worry about a spring compressor. Taking the break lines off will allow you to drop the axle enough to get the springs in. After you lift it, obviously get it aligned, and every day for 2-3 days after the lift, inspect the bolts to make sure nothing is coming loose. Then I usually check once a week for a few weeks, and now I do it like once a month cause I worry too much. Just check some of the bolts once in a while after you start driving it lifted. My track bar likes to come loose once in a while, so I check that every so often.

I only have rear brake lines coming in, just relocating the ones on the front. PBblasting it is. Appreciate it.

Alright accomplishing day. Talked to Frank from SeriousOffroad. Managed to get me the rear leaf springs that RE has put everyone on backorder! Wooohoo! Should get those before Friday, along with bump stops, and shocks will get to me by Friday or the following Monday/Tuesday.

Also bought 20 lug nuts and 4 center caps from Summit Racing, got my online purchase issue figured out.

Question: After I lift the Cherokee, I will probably have to keep my current tires/wheels on for a few days. Is it okay to drive like that? I know I will have to get my wheels mounted with tires, and then balanced, and then have the jeep aligned, but is it alright to drive before all that?

Also, what bolts should I be soaking exactly? Sorry for the boring thread recently, I hope to have it lifted before June, and will be posting pics hopefully a couple weeks before then (if all goes as planned). Thanks for all the help tho guys.

Ull be fine driving it right after lift just u nay end up thinking u did something wrong bc without aligning it u can get some vibes and u should soak the control arm bolts, all shocks top and rear, front and rear bolts for leaf springs, trackbar bolts and steering stabilizer if u got one u may have to go get a tap if u dont have it already for your bottom bumbstops ohh and swaybar link bolts, and rear axle u bolts and swaybar and i think thats it

Ull get the bolts they come with the spacers and you have to drill a hole the very next size smaller than the bolt

Got an RE adjustable track bar from Craigslist for $80 new! Retails for $165! Everything but shocks will be here Monday! So right now, as I'm planning to prepare for the actual day of lifting I need:

-cheater bar
-pickle fork?
-4 or 2 jacks (just two needed right?)

Can someone verify that's all I need? Thanks! If shocks don't get here by Saturday, I'm looking at lifting the Jeep May 26th.

Ratchets, sockets, cheater bar, jack, two jack stands, hammer, extra hardware is usually needed as those shock bolts break (amazingly enough not a single one of those bolts gave me .trouble, it was the leaf spring bolts that did), and you may need a coil compressor. You can rent one from an auto store and get the refund when u return it
