Okay thanks Frank! Sorry for all the beginner questions... but do you recommend getting a brake bleeding kit? Or how should I go about doing this.. I'm looking at stuff online and I'm just confused.

Yes, they make bleeding your brakes a breeze.

Or if you have a friend to help you it's pretty easy as well without the kit!

So leaf sprung front ends can't be aligned?

Re-read what I posted.

You're not understanding the difference between aligning front wheels vs. aligning a rear axle.

No I understand the difference there. I just read the original post as "leaf sprung axles can't be aligned" leading me to believe that even front ends that are lead sprung can't be aligned. Misunderstanding on my part, I get what you mean

I don't want to talk about it... stupid mistake and a little rushing cost me another week.. But the lift itself went on with some trouble but it went on. All thanks to help from CF users!

Nah man not you or Patrick's fault. I was tryin so hard to get to that brake appt haha. My jeep my responsibility. Some very important things (my fault) weren't tightened and I'm lucky my Jeep didn't fall apart. Went 20 mph on Broad the whole way there haha. Scariest drive ever. If there's a wobble above death wobble I think I reached that point.

But now it's at 4wheeldrivespsecialty. They're gunna install the brake hose, check out some rusted brake line, tighten everything in the lift kit with power tools (including the ubolts), fix what I broke, and they offered to install the sway bar links after cutting that pressed bolt you were talkin about. So all in all, I'm glad it's there. It will be driveable when I pick it up.

But now I know the process of a lifting a Jeep and it's all cause of you and Patrick so thanks a bunch. I had a lot of fun and it was awesome meeting you guys. Next time if I'm helping somebody I'll know at least how to do most of the stuff (even if I can't supply any of the tools haha). Maybe next weekend on Friday or Sunday we can wheel some power lines or go out to this place in Varina.

Anyhow let this be a warning to people lifting their jeep for the first time - please don't set a time limit for being done. Take you're time and tighten EVERYTHING.

Oh and Matt, have fun at the beach!
