Wheel base is actually 126. I finally remembered to measure it the other night.

The bed is done and body lift is out. It's finally time to start on the front end.

 

Every now and then I like to visit my old threads and wish I had never sold a project haha. Today is that day for the Jeep.

I worked on the s10 for quite a while and got it running good, took it wheeling a few times. Looks didn't really change much other than I caved the side of the bed in. But that truck was never going to be as nice as I wanted it to be. I ended up tearing it down to nothing but a frame, cab and bed then it got scrapped. I kept most of the good parts to use on a blazer that should be pretty sweet when done.

Another Chevy... those parts would look way better under a jeep. Lol that will be sweet can't wait to see it done!

 

I wouldn't be a opposed to a getting another cherokee but people seem to think they are made out of gold around here. Good Blazers seem to go for 1/4 to 1/2 the price of a beat up, rusted out XJ.

I bought a loaded Blazer for $800 that needed the transmission line hooked back up. $40 in ATF and I sold it for $2,200.

As for this one, I traded 3 old rifles that I had less than $380 in for it. The transmission is missing reverse but that can be fixed for $250. Other than that it's super clean.

 

Still wishing I had kept that XJ truck but here's a couple current shots of the blazer.
