Brand new at this and love every minute, well most of the time when I bought It spent about a month tuning on it. Now i've seen mods on here so here we go. First I removed body side moldings, removed fender well plastics and painted. Looked great that wasn't enough didn't like the rear sagging an so I got some blocks and u bolts from autozone lifted rear 2". Then decided to get a coil spacer from Oreilly's auto parts and lifted the front 1" now it sits level from ground to bottom of fender wells.

Had to redo the fender wells the door edge guards weren't staying on. Headliner looked like crap so I removed it brushed off all the backing and painted so it will never sag again. Made a small storage bin for my jack, tow strap, bungee cords, tie downs, and some other misc items.

decided to loose the 2" blocks in the rear the leafs were flat so I found a complete set of leafs at a scrap yard laying on the ground bought for $10 they were monsters not sure what they came off of. pulled them apart and added the middle leaf to just under my main leaf wow was that a stiff test drive went back home and pulled my second leaf and re drove much better. but it was sitting a little taller in the rear so i decided to ditch the 1" spacer in the front and add a 2" spacer so it's back level again. Relocated the front brake line. removed front and rear sway bars and wow that made a huge difference. Used rear sway bar bracket for bar pin eliminator. Made some brackets for the front from angle iron that I had seen on some web site. the first pic is with sway bars on notice drivers side rear wheel off the ground.

Got some YJ front shocks they are about 3" longer. Knocked out the bolt for the front sway bar links and went to lowes and bought 2 7-1/6 x 2.5 bolts and now i can loosen that bolt and pull the whole link and sway bar up and bungee it to the bumper bracket. Not sure if I'm going to leave front sway bar off permanently hadn't got to drive it around enough my driving is mostly 25-35 mph some highway on day off.

Nice jeep! Those storage pockets are a great idea. I think Im going to have to whip me up some of those!

I drive daily without sway bars and it suckkkkks!!! But the nice thing is I find my front end is quieter without it, and I can flex up curbs Cant wait to get my front sway bar back in (bent it a while ago)

Keep up the nice work.
