No idea, they are little tiny glass beads. Like i said, I have no experience with any of them so whenever I get them actually on the Jeep ill leave some feedback on how they work. Fingers crossed.

I used airsofts from the get go, only because they were cheap and readily available. I think you'll be fine.

BTW, sorry you couldn't make it this weekend. Gonna be a blast. We have like 15 people going, some on quads, my XJ, a YJ, a couple of unknown to me Jeeps...plus guns, hot dawgs and buns, LMAO

List of what I still need to buy. Goal is to have it all by the time my 3 link gets delivered in early January. Also going to do the ball joints while the axle is torn down.

Front:
- RE 5.5 coils On the way
- Shocks Bilstein 5100's on the way
- Steering Cav fab steering on the way
- Trac bar RE 1660 and bracket on the way
- gears/locker

Rear:
-shackles
-shocks Bilstein 5100's on the way
-relocation brackets
-gears/locker

Things I'm still deciding on.
-8.8 rear swap or chromo 8.25 shafts
-front axle truss
-locker type
- which DIY bumpers or building my own.
Updated the list of whats been ordered and what I still need.

At this point all I really need is relocation brackets and shackles which i'll be ordering at some point within the next week or two.

I've decided to run the 8.25 and dana 30 for now, open with stock gearing while I hoard axle parts and build a 8.8. Once I have all the parts and 8.8 built i'll just swap them over and re-gear the front. Building the axles for now is a lot of additional expense I don't want to fork over this close to the holidays. Maybe thats what I'll to with my tax return.

Cut and folded my rear quarters as well as the wheel openings. Just hit them with some primer to keep them from rusting in the meantime.

Definitely going to need the extra room to stuff the 35's.

You're going to love the RE coil and Bilstein combo. Soft enough to be comfortable but firm enough to handle highway curves with confidence.

Thats good to hear, I have a couple buddies running RE coils and really like them. They seem to flex pretty good as well.

Yup, they flex like crazy and don't sag. My bud has a full Long armed WJ with another brand of springs with the 5100's and it rides like a boat to me. Way to squishy for my taste.

I definitely appreciate the feedback. Ive done quite a bit of research up until this point as to what parts I've chosen for my build, its reassuring to hear positive feedback.

Agreed. I'm going to be running the same... unless I get a wild hair and go overboard on shocks too lol. Did you order the alpha 3 link?

I thought about going with a more expensive shock, but for the type of wheeling I do its mostly slow speed and crawling. If i wanted to run through the desert at high speed and rail whoop sections I would have gone with a higher end remote resi shock.

I did order the alpha 3 link as well as cav fab's steering. Cant wait for it to show up. Thats the last major puzzle piece for my suspension.

That's my line of thinking for shocks as well, but then again I have a lot of other stuff on my rig that I don't need lol.

I'm pumped for the alpha kit. It looks awesome.
