Thanks, I want to chop the bottom of the front bumper and copy another members idea on the flares... But I don't have tools atm for that... Nor a place to do it. Seems kinda lame to be like, "hey mechanic, (which happens to be the awesome tony lavender at the moment ) can you make a couple cuts on my bumper...?" When it's free for me to do it.

Also, ironman4x4's adj lcas go in tomorrow hopefully those will solve my stubborn DW! If not its on to https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f10/xj...hipping-86745/ or a different setup. I'd like to get one like this http://www.jcroffroad.com/mm5/mercha...tegory_Code=S6 depending on what i feel like spending...

ironman's lcas are in, rc disco's are in, and track bar double shear conversion is welded up! Took the highway home for the first time in a while. Tried real hard to keep my hands either off the steering wheel or just real lightly. Rides way better so far and not a hint of the EVIL DEATHWOBBLES! I may just put in the ZJ steering with all new TRE's and a ZJ pitman arm for the 1" drop just cause I can for preventative measures.

After I get a few more highway miles to verify my DW is gone, I may have to order some spacers instead. I rub on lcas and the sway bar mounts lol. Wish I could afford some soft 8's! Idk what to do to make sure my DW's are gone though... any thoughts? lol

Summit racing has soft 8s for 48 a piece for the 15x8s so right at 200 for all 4 compared to 125 for spacer... just a lil advice n the heep looks good man

Wow... Thats a great deal, and 0 shipping too! However, wheels have been set back by steering again. Such a bummer dealing with this. I need to figure out the most cost effective way to fix my deathwobbles before the next paycheck. I think I'm going to replace the steering system next, which means $200+ sadly.

U-turn steering with 5/8" heims. About the same as a 1-ton steering setup but stronger. Only downside is you can't go to your local parts stores to get heims. Friend of mine is running that style setup on his 91 XJ with no steering stabilizer, plus no death wobble. The steering is a lot tighter now also, the "loose" feeling in the steering wheel is gone aswell.

I keep hearing bad things about using heim joints on the road. So since this is a DD i'm gonna steer away from heim steering. I may just bite the bullet and save up a couple months and buy the tried and true currie set up, it will keep stock geometry and its heavier duty than most things out there. If that doesn't clear DW's... lol

Could always go to the Chevy style tre. I think I have a list of the part numbers here somewhere. Parts are easy to get since almost all parts store carry them.

Doesn't that require reaming though?

It does. The only real option to go stronger and keep the factory size stuff is to go the ZJ route.

I may do that with a small drop pitman. I'm gonna get the kit from AOR on here i think. I would like to go the currie route but considering my offroad needs and budget, the ZJ upgrade seems much more feasible.

The ZJ setup isn't bad, it all come down to what kind of wheeling you do.

been awhile since i updated this... I thought I had some pictures but i guess not lol. Well I got a ZJ tie rod from the JY and put it on with new poly boots and grease. Still got a small bump steer. But its 90% better. I need to get some poser flexing shots up lol.

Also, poked around under the hood and under the jeep, motor mounts have daylight showing through so thats awesome lol. Also I can wiggle the stock UCAs by hand. I think there was another thing I had to post on up too. Oh my MPGs are hanging around 12ish. But considering im just driving mostly city up and down a hill its slightly ok with me. pre lift and 31's i was normally above 19.
