i am really interested in that lift idea, did you have to do any funny tricks to make anything fit or did it all go fairly smooth? im trying to get 3 or 4.5 under my jeep and trying not to spend the money on a kit.. wouldnt mind gettin a tb and cheap parts vs the price of a kit

installed it... Took forever with inadequate tools and time.. Couldn't get a socket over the nut so i had to improvise tightening that up. also it turns out my new torque wrench was sent to texas instead of california. So this has been a fun week.
A run down on the track bar: beefy as ****. Included drill bit is also beefy as **** haha, it's a 3/4" bit that ate through the stock mount like butter. Made my DW into an uncomfortable wobble at 55, so still not there yet. If you have all the correct tools and manage to drill the hole a little better than I did (the socket needed like a 1/16" more clearance to fit on the nut...) than this install couldn't be any easier.
Now gonna go with the LCA's and then next option will be some HD steering components.... Updating my signature to include the J.E.E.P. acronym of Just Empty Every Pocket haha

sigh... Due to buying 784's a bored TB and a little obd2 scanner (
hopefully that thing isn't trash, reviews say it does what it says lol) I can't buy my new LCA's from ironmanfab until wednesday
Would you put up some specs on this "kit" that you have made... This is really interesting to me and would love to know how you set your leafs up and what coils work with the kit. Did you use shackles?

Edit: IF YOU JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS ON IT THEN SKIP TO NEXT POST!!!
Up front I have some coils from a 93ish ford thunderbird's struts along with the top plate from it. Then I used a new pair of oem replacement shocks for the front of a 95 wrangler Monroe #59352. I would recommend a new pair actually made for a lifted XJ, they aren't that much more... But if you do use the wrangler ones you need bar pin eliminators, I didn't use them but I busted the bushings out too. So that will need to be replaced eventually haha. After this some people will re-drill the frame side mount for the track bar and that will pull your axle back to center. But I bought a track bar from Ironmanandy on here or Ironman4x4fab.com. His adj LCA's are also soon to go in.
In the back it's a lot more simple. Go buy some full rear leaf spring packs from a junk yard off of either a chevrolet s10(I've read that the ones off the s10 blazer work as well) or off of a dodge dakota. My buddy who helped me said as long as the springs go under the axle on the donor vehicle than it will work. Now, clamp your leaf springs together, especially if you are cutting the center pins haha (seriously, my buddy and I got bored and just cut one without clamping it. Entertaining, but it was dumb.) You can also try to unscrew them if the rust isn't too bad. Then you need to cut the eyes off of the new to you main leafs. I forget where to cut it exactly, but if you line up the center pin holes on the main leaf with your main leaf, just cut enough to clear the XJ's eyelets. My pack is the whole s10 pack minus the bottom overload 1/2" thick one bolted right under the XJ main. I didn't use new shackles. I didn't even remove the XJ main leaf from the jeep actually lol. I used shocks from a 95 ford f150 4x4 Monroe# 59578 for the rear and used the links to my rear sway bar as bar pin eliminators.

Wow thats a couple big blocks of text... I'll simplify it.
I netted 4.5" in front and 4.0" in the rear.
FRONT:
93 Ford Thunderbird coils and top plate from front strut.
front 95 wrangler oem replacement shocks Monroe #59352
Ironmanandy's solid track bar from Ironman4x4fab.com
BACK:
s10 bastard pack layered like this: main XJ then all the leafs except the overload from the s10 pack
rear '95 Ford F150 4x4 oem replacement shocks Monroe# 59578
removed rear sway bar and used the links to make bar pin eliminators
MIDDLE:...? 1" t-case drop made with 1x2x1/8" tubing.
TIRES: BFGoodrich 31x10.5x15 A/T's
