You gonna rip that inner fender out or what?
Looks good. Seeing all the problems you had with your rear shocks has me scared for whats in store for me. So far about every bolt I've touched has broke off. Still messing with the one in the crossmember.

hey guys, going to start with the cb stuff.
probably gonna get a cheap $40 cobra cb radio, but honestly im not sure what antenna to get, how big, and how much cable to get to run it to the mount. probably gonna get one of xj firefighters tail light mounts https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f74/ta...ntenna-155240/
so yeah. antenna suggestions? i plan on using some type of spring on the mount from xjfirefighter.
and also how much cable to get to go to the taillight?
thanks.

So my cb stuff should be coming in tomorrow. and xjfirefighter antenna mounts for frank kyle and myself should be coming in friday sat or monday?
I ordered a:
cobra 19 ultra III cb,
firestik 3' firestick w. tuneable tip,
firestik SS3H heavy duty spring,
18' RG58 Coaxial Cable,
and xjfirefighter's taillight mount.
got some more pics:

Had to go muddin with the new tires. I crawled right through the spot i sunk at last time... way back in the woods i got double pumpkin stucked.

I think i have a leak. came in through the river somewhere. only on the passenger side i cant figure it out. HELP!

So I went to the carwash. on my way home my brake pedal had no pressure. brake light came on. apparently the carwash blew a master cylinder out on the back passenger side. but before i knew this i went under my truck to look around... this is what i find

dif breather vaccume line cracked right off.

so i did some tinkering. messin with the drivers speaker cause it didnt work.
found my culprit. damn ripped wires. crimped in new connections and good as new.

did some doodling for a reverse light concept that runs on the stock reverse but also with a switch for miscellaneous usage.

OH, and brown santa showed up

waiting on xjfirefighter to get back to me on the size of the mounting hole in his mount 3/8 or 1/2 so i can buy the appropriate firestick stud.
tell me if im wrong here but it goes coax>st(xjfirefightermount)ud>spring>antenna?

quick update. went to the junkyard. got my durango steering box and also a drivers seat from a 1999 grand cherokee. holy crap i enjoy driving now with the new seat. cant wait to get the steering box in.
and for anyone looking to do the seat swap. it was like 75 for the seat and its literally just 4 bolts to take the rails off the xj seat and directly mount it to the zj seat. so worth it. especially if your seat is rocking all over the place or crooked. lol

also brought my jeep to meineke cause my heater core was leaking. the one that they had replaced so i was really pissed about that. but it turned out it was just a hose clamp so thats good. they also told me my injector 1 is leaking gas so i think ill be getting 703s from a neon soon lol. hey that might also explain the terrible gas mileage lol
waiting for xj fire fighters tail mount to set up the cb. should be here today or early next week i hope.

Yeah works great. Threw in a self tapper for an added support point on xjfire's mount. Also using a 4' now cause my buddy found 3 in his garage and have them to Kyle so it worked out. I had to wrap the mount in electrical tape tho cause it was grounding on the wrong spot. Idk I'm not a cb expert. I'm a noob lol. But very thing works great and looks good too. Even have smashed up a parking garage and the spring worked wonderfully
