Thought I would finally make one of these. lol

It all began with this. I got it the day I turned 16.
It was owned by a little old lady who garaged it everynight and drove to church and the store and that was about it. Never even put in 4WD. It was in mint condition when I got it and sometimes I think I should have parked it and bought a different one to wheel.

96 Jeep Cherokee Country
4.0 HO
Auto AW4
d30/chr8.25
3.55 gears
NP242
Tow Package
130K

Drove it like this for about 6 months till a girl at school said it was cute. Talked to my uncle and he bought me a 3" Skyjacker lift with full AAL with Nitro 9000 shocks and LCA for christmas.

Went on my first wheeling trip and got stuck 3 times after that I was hooked.

Next I got a set of rock rails off a friend for cheap and some KC slimlites for my Birthday. Also made a sway bar holder, did and H4 headlight conversion, added a CB and PA.

Wheeled some more and then my dad got a 3" procomp lift on his 94 XJ and I couldn't let my Jeep be the same size as his. So I ordered 2 inch spacers for the front and shackles for the rear.

Then I upgraded the stereo. I went all out. lol

Alpine deck with custom Ipod mount

6.5" Cliff Designs in the front

5.5" Tre's in the rear

1400 watt Md Amp with blue LED's that dance to the music

2 12" Punch P2 subs in custom one of a kind box that were made for Lebron James.

I met him the day I got the stereo. He was having them put in his car and decided he wanted something bigger, so he then came over and asked if i wanted to buy them from him for my rig. How could I say no!!!

It looked like that for a while. Then I got a zactal offroad roof rack and bought a flowmaster 40 exhaust with a new cat and all new O2 censors. Got charged way to much.

Collected a few speeding tickets and then got in a wreck while my license was restricted. I was towing a washer and dryer with bad breaks and got destracted. Locked them up and slammed into the back of a ford escort. I ended up climbing up into his back window totaling his car. All that happened to mine was it pierced the radiator and bent the front bumber in and bent the passanger side fender.

Well luckily my best friends dad own's a body shop. Insurance tried to tell me my rig was toataled before they even came and looked at it. Well I told them to send someone out and I got lucky. The guy they sent was a Jeep guy and he told me it wasn't totalled and gave me 1400bucks for repairs. Well it wasn't going to be that much so I upgraded stuff.

I got daystar upper control arms, 1 transfer case drop to get rid of the vibes, front pollyurethane bushings, 4-8" lift drop pitman arm, and new oem steering (wreck borke it)

This is it the day I got it back. The guy at the shop rebuilt my KC's for free.

Well it stayed like that for a while. Went to college. Dropped out 2 weeks later. (Religious college) Signed up for community college the day I got home.

Finally after two years my tires were done so it was time to upgrade. I bought a set of 33/12.5/15 BFG KM1's for 300 bucks that had 10 miles on them. Had them mounted and out them on my rig and I couldn't even turn a little with out them rubbing

So I took them off and sold them for 900 with my rims.

Then purchased a set of 32/11.5/15 BFG KM2's with 15" Cragar soft 8's

Flex tested them

Then went wheeling to try them out and got horribly stuck. There's a story to go with it as usual.

My buddy and I had spent the night at Brown's Camp and when we woke up we couldn't get his POS Toyota on 35's to start. We noticed he had almost no gas so we got in my rig and headed 20 miles back into town to get gas for it. Well on the way back we noticed a trail off the road and I thought we would just go through it real quick. I ended up burying my rig to the axles in mud in the middle of no where with no phone service. We hiked until we found a pay phone and my buddy called a bunch of his firends that all drive massive mudding rigs. Well after a 4 hour wait one of his buddy's showed up in a stock 93 Ford Ranger! I just laughed because there was no way he was getting me out. Well later another one of his friends showed up in a 95 yota on 32's with a ton of chains and tow ropes. Well it took us awhile but we got it out. I eneded up ripping out the breather line on the d30 and filling it completely with water and a ton of rocks got stuck in the front breaks.

Right as I got out 4 trucks pulled up a 85 f-250 on 38's, to yota's on 42's and a 83 GMC with a 454 and 44's. His mudding buddy's were a little late....

As soon as I got home I started searching for a new bumper and winch.
Got an awesome deal on a Warn Transformer brush gaurd for 100 bucks. Then bought a Schmitty Built XRC8 for 300. So new bumper and winch for $400. Gotta love Craigslist

After that I had a custom decal made for the back window

August 16th of this year I moved to Boise to attend BSU where I'm majoring in Automotive Technology. Since I've been here I've done a lot.

Installed my Hayden 405 Trans cooler

Put in a rebuilt AW4. Took me and my friend Matt (mmitch545) 2 days and a lot of energy drinks but we got it.

Old one

Empty

New one

New Torque Converter

Ready to go in

Done. I got a little dirty

Bought some cheap back up lights from a friend

After that I put all new brakes on her.

I have been doing a lot of electrical crap currently. I changed out my burnt up turn signal bulb, found out my Jeep has lights at my feet it just never had bulbs in them so I added some, rewired my fog lights. When I first got the Jeep I just wired them through the fender and into the door, now there nicely done through the firewall. Rebuilt the fog lights themselfs so they shine correctly now and fixed my back up lights. I just had to adjust the NSS. Finally I rewired my Amp so it looks cleaner now. Busy day of electrical. I'm no longer scared to work with electrical stuff like I used to be.

I'm now home in Portland for christmas break

My most recent project I have been working on is a custom switch panel.

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f177/custom-switch-panel-idea-926047/

Here is the end result just waiting on the other switches

I also ordered all LED's for the interior, Blue LED's to wire into the cup holers and orange LED's that are going to get wired into the mirrors when I turn. Those will all get wired up when I go back to Boise where my Jeep is.

Hope you all enjoy. Sorry if it's a little hard to read or if things are out of order. It's late and I did this quick.

Well I finished my custom switch panel and it looks Awesome!

All done! All thats left is to install it in my Jeep when I get back to Boise the 16th.

I used black caulking to seal it and hold it in place. We'll see how it holds

Also painted my extra d30 cover I picked up at the junk yard a few days ago.
