Lastly I did a little work on my rear bumper area. i took off the factory mounts the took a wire wheel to it and added some flat black rustoleum because it was kinda grey lookin and stuck out like a sore thumb. another fix would have been kick this laziness and start my rear bumper but i just couldnt do it lol
you can also get an idea of how i did my cut and fold. you can see i took off a little more than most ive seen..

theres the befores and here is the after

Yesterday after work i stopped by the local jy and grabbed 6 orange fuel injectors from a 93 model f250 5.0 ford truck engine. i soaked them in a 1 part purple power 1 part rubbing alcohol solution for 30 mins then took an old tooth brush to them. after that i dried them up and threw them in.. the entire wrench time took about 15 mins.. very pleased with the outcome, i noticed a little throttle response and it runs a whole lot smoother. I couldnt tell much on the power end but even the mileage seems to be doing better.
the injectors i used werent any that i had seen talked about though. im not sure of the part number but the injector number on the side that was stamped was F2TE A3Aand they are the 19lb 4 hole Orange ones found in mustang 5.0s from the early 90s and the f series trucks along with the explorers.
I strongly recommend buying a set, for the 20 mine cost me it was definitely worth the improvements

I took a few more pics of some finished up stuff i didnt get to show above.. ill just post them here instead of tracking down the original posts and trying to edit them in, enjoy..
A few more cut and fold pics, sorry for the poor quality

Passenger side

I did a little work on my header crack

Here is the pinched part i fixed. i cut it out and beat it with a hammer then welded her back along with added a new o2 sensor

Here is the junky lookin rattling tip i had on there when i brought it home.. sounded like a rattle snake lol

This here was where i replaced a chunk of pipe that had been reduced 4 times!! 4 i tell ya!!! i replaced the section with a straight piece

and lastly here is how i redid my tip.. i decided to go with a straight out the back setup.. it should clear my rear bumper perfectly when i get it fabbed up

Very nice build. The Comanche has a new stalker. That thing is gorgeous.
I worked for CarolinaCAT and saw plenty of Cat yellow everyday for 6 years. It may just be the pics, but the Cat yellow you used looks more like plain yellow to me.

its probably just the pics because it came from an actually can of cat touch-up spray paint. i didnt even know they made the stuff but its all we had. as for the comanche it is a very sharp truck, it has cherokee doors too. he just added a brand new rustys 5.5 inch lift and wrangler wheels.. might be the rubicon wheels but im not sure. im about to start some bumpers for it in the next couple weeks.

I found the Jeep that inspired me to get into the life in the first place. its a gold one that used to belong to my uncle. it was one of the first vehicles i drove before i had my license. we would do a lot of bear hunting and when we were in certain offroad situations he would always let me drive or send to go get it for him and i loved how that thing drove. i noticed hoe compact and well built it was even when i didnt know much about them. great vehicle and id love to talk this lady into letting me buy it one day.

you got a good point. the last jeep i had a made a bumper thats almost exactly the same as this one and i used my front rings with a chain to help a wrangler out of a mud hole. we got fed up after a few mins and me not knowing any better at the time started taking 5-10 ft runny go pulls lol. the mounts held up fine but i did notice a small amount of stretching in my mounting holes after i took off the bumper to re paint it. needless to say this was a lesson learned. there wont be any pulling like that on this one. they do hold up surprisingly well though. someone hit my mounts with a plas cutter on the unibody of this jeep so im def going to have to extend them if i want to do any serious wheeling. i also didnt have a rear bumper at the time. the rears i make are much stronger and have a better mounting setup
