Very true plus having a vehicle with everything working is always a good peace of mind. i know when i get in someone elses ride and it has broke stuff i think less of the car or truck. Almost like a "i see you dont take care of your ride" feelin lol

 

Ok got a little done on the jeep today! i picked up a set of hella comet 500s also, no more broken shift bezel!! now i can see what gear im in and i added a blue bulb to it too which is a subtle change but looks good. i forgot to get a pic of it but ill get one later.

Next while out playing in a junkyard i picked up a new radio trim bezel and new guage cluster for the ol gal. not that i needed a cluster but as funny as this sounds and as odd as it would be to have missing... mine had no clear cover over my gauges so i grabbed the whole setup just in case i ever needed it. also while i was out i found a place that buys all harbor freights sendbacks along with the stuff from northern tool and then checks it out then knocks 60 EFFIN PERCENT OFF then sells it to the locals!!! i didnt have much cash on me thank god so i left with just a couple small things. i picked up a code reader thing that is usually 135 new for 20 dollars!!!!! just cause the dude didnt know what it was!! then i grabbed a heat gun for 15 dollars too. pics of that later as well. this dude had plasma cutters for 275!! my gah! anyways new topic before i get tore up again lol.

I couldnt take it any longer so i re installed my stinger after taking about 8 inches out of it.. i also stripped off my night shade on the signal and corner lights. I did manage to get pics of that lol. also i was goofin off and threw some tape on the lights to add a little effect with the stinger and if you ask me i think its way kickass lol so here you are let me know what you guys think!

still no tires for the soft 8s yet but i decided to go wheeling anyway and found one hell of and awesome playground. i was too busy exploring to get many pics but i did snap a few and a quick vid. next time ill get more.

Heres a vid of my buddys yota. We just put a 3 inch lift on this thing a couple days ago so hes still got that fresh toy excitement. This trip was a pretty good test for it and it did pretty good. this vid doesnt really do the hill much justice, it was pretty big.

I can not stress how much i want to get my new wheels on!!!

Ive also determined i need new shocks. This has a little to play in my poor handling but this also puts me in a bit of a conundrum... i can put some plain jane 5.5 lift RC or rustys shocks like i already have back on.. or i can put something thats gonna let me flex a little more. i have some time to think on it, i have no idea what to even go with if i go bigger is a huge question mark in the matter. i think the jeep is plenty high enough, id love more flex but with that comes buying an SYE

 

After a small hiatus i am back my friends, and not just back but back with lots o pics and progress. I recently moved into a new house and it cut into my jeep work big time. Anyways though just as soon as i get myself to an area with internet ill post up my new stuff. I cant wait for everyone to see! Lol (sarcasm)

 

OK its time for a rather large update! Here goes..

First things first.. for some reason my exhaust pipe right after my header was pinched almost shut (im guessing this played a little in my jeeps poor performance) anyways i fixed that just as i rolled over this on the odo.. anyways, heres pics..







anyways i fixed that up, ill have to get some after pics but that is what i started with.

Next i took off the old factory rear bumper and discovered shes got the cancer, it was a tuesdy.. lol





i then decided to fix that along with cut and fold my rear quarters.

here is the fix..

 

 

after that i finished tacking everything up and grinded the welds then started my trim for the fold. i dont have many pics of the fold progress because it was quite a headache but i do have a few odds and ends from that work. im also not completely done welding everything up so when i do ill get some good finished pics cause i did mine a little differently.





next i found the hole in my ac tube that was caused from my battery pushing the tube into my fan.. basically i cut the tube in half then flaired the ends like a brake line. then i grabbed some hose and clamped it down here is a pic of my flair job. this is another thing on my "to get more pics list"
