Feels like a whole new front end! Well, it basically is. I can tell now by having something to compare it to that the RC trackbar had to be flexing somewhat because it feels SO much stiffer now. VERY happy I went with the Clayton. Price was right as well!

After much reading on Jeep alignments, drive-line vibes, etc. I decided to tackle the job myself as the alignment shop I was using was only setting toe and telling me everything else was fine. Well, vibes and ruined pinion bearings aren't fine. So I tackled it myself. Thanks to a couple nice posts on the forums here, I found it was quite easy to do this by myself. While I was at it, I took apart the johnny joints, cleaned, inspected, lubed, and repacked them. I was pleasantly surprised how well they've held up for almost a full 3 years. Anyways, my vibes are gone and it actually drives/feels better with less caster than I was expecting.

Well, Jeep Beach is next week and I have been wanting to get rid of the "gansta lean" this thing has developed. I contacted Rough Country to explain the bushings on the rear leafs were shot and they were only a year old, if that. They sent some replacements out and to my surprise, they sent poly replacements. Sweet! It was a very easy process. Pulled each leaf pack, supported the leaf with jack stands and used my air chisel to knock the pressed in junk out. Greased up everything and the poly's went in real easy. There's still a small amount of sag on the RR compared to the LR, but nowhere near as bad.
One year?

Take that!
