help building 1999 cherokee
Being in high school myself i understand what your going thru. Choose how you spend your money very wisely. After driving/wheeling my jeep stock while I saved up and slowly bought componets. Jeepforum has an amazing for sale section and you can find great deals.
So far im at 5" lift and 33's with a number of smaller mods Check out my built thread for insiration. Oh and my lift and new tires and wheels was a total of 1300 bucks. So you can do it for cheap just buy some used parts.

I was on a tight budget, I got a 98 XJ and got a 6.5 RCX lift, 33 inch Mud King tires and 15x10 black steely wheels and my Jeep gets all sorts of looks and goes almost anywhere without lockers. I did all the work myself, including fender cutting. So far, with the price of the Jeep included, I have spent roughly 5500 bucks. If you want to wait till around tax time, I will sell you my lift, minus the shocks ( they are bad ) for pretty cheap, about 500 bucks or so. Its a great lift, I have never had any problems with it ( except the shocks, those and mud without shock boots dont mix). I just want to upgrade to the rusty's 8 in long arm kit... WOOO HOOO... Jeep speed, here I come. Lemme know
