I just did mine as well, and the outer bracketry was a bit different than the factory one.
Did you put the rubber isolators on it yet?

I'm not bringing my insurance into it & its only liability insurance. I have 2 front fenders I've been holding onto for a while and my buddies for a header panel for me. My dad does body work so it'll be back to its old self soon enough.
It was raining this morning and 3 cars hammered the brakes & I was the victim. Without ABS I slid into the rear of a Lexus. Tried to swerve but that's interesting without ABS...

Driving an older vehicle is a challenge. As a teen (year was 2000) I drove a 79 Camaro. In drivers Ed they taught us 2-4 seconds following distance. I maintained said distance. When a new Saturn slammed on the brakes on a rainy day, I nailed him. Got to keep in mind your old car will take twice as long to stop as that new car. They don't teach you that in school.
Glad to hear it will be an easy fix for you.

Got the Spartan in the carrier today at work, 4.88 gears should be delivered Monday! All that's left on the list are new spicer balljoints, spicer U joints and Spicer stub shafts.
