I had them powdercoated by Method before they delivered them.
so i haven't updated this since i've been in Johnson valley with no reception for the last week...
I got it done just in time.. and i'm pumped that everything worked awesome this week out at KOH!
here's some pics of articulation... ended up finding some RE extended bump stops and added 3 hockey pucks on each side...

took it to the gas station to fill up and head out!

found some rocks out at KOH to do some mall crawlin'

this doesn't show it.. but this was a pretty knarly trail we had to take to get back up this hill from going down a sand dune..

Hammertown!

pic from the Falken Tire pit where i spent most of the week helping our team..

overall i'm super happy with how everything has come out... I'm going relocate the rear shackle mount to get some more rear droop and also finish up the rear bumper with a couple extra bars... other than that it performed really well for the first time out!

haha, yeah it was definitely a good place to "shake it down".. I'm planning on hitting up some more local trails like either cleghorn or big bear soon too..

Thanks man. Wish i had the time to make some to sell..
Hybrid/exo cage, finish the rear bumper, relocate rear shackle mounts for more droop, mount the rear shocks thru the floor to a rear shock hoop, rear cargo spare tire mount, rock lights and possibly mirror mounts for a couple more forward facing lights.
Thats all for awhile.. Ill probably pick away at that list over the next couple months starting with the smaller stuff and leaving the hybrid cage and shock mounts for last..

well my main goal was to keep a high approach angle... most of the bumpers i've seen especially the winch bumpers stick out really far which i think detracts from the look of the xj along with killing the approach angle..
