The shocks i have are gas charged so it doesn't matter which way they are ran. I like the logo up so I made it that way. Others like it opposite. Some shocks require a certain direction.

I think I got a rebuilt one from Advance for about $70 and it's been going strong for about 10 months now. It's not too terrible and the install is about an hour, only cause you have to release the belt. Install of the actual alternator is about 20 min. If you have access to a pneumantic socket wrench, it makes it SOOOOOOO much faster.

Hit the trails today. Shocks were great. Not amazing but great. Jeep ran good. Did a huge hill climb and coming back down the brakes were smoking hot! Alternator seems fine. Pretty sure it's a short somewhere.
