I finally got around to getting a rear axle and had a shop set the gears in them. Yukon 5:38s, d60 is spooled and a grizzly in the 14. I got the rear axle in and midway setting up the 60

I got the gas tank in and got the filler hoses and lines run. This is how it looks with the gas tank in, the bottom sits flush with the bottom of the frame rails

No I didn't really take a lot of pics, I just followed the generic how to threads, but I moved mine up as high as possible and cut the doors.

At 6.5" I ran rubicon express 5.5" hd leafs. I got rid of them for a 1" shackle and 3" bds leafs. I also had the hd off-road engineering no lift shackle boxes instslled

Thanks for the info! I am actually running RE 3.5" leaf packs, RE boomerang shackle and RC shackle relocators so I may do some thing very similar to swap in a 14 bolt. I would like to lower my stance as you did.

What did you do up front> 3 link? 4 link? Coils and shocks? coilovers?
