Fuel Pump Going Out?

Engine: 4.0 High Output
Fuel Pump Going Out?
My Jeep wont run unless I pour gas in the throttle body. I put 8 gal of gas in the tank. My dad and i speculate it is the fuel pump but how can i know for sure?
