New pitman arm installed... now the track bar bracket and the drag link are fighting for the same space...

So I'm building a new track bar bracket.

I was talking about the piece that hangs down and inevitably gets banged up right behind the wheel well. I don't like the look of a comp cut but what you did will work wonderfully with what I want to do for a bumper and the rear end.

I have a plan that I think will really turn out well... keep an eye peeled for rear fender completion pics.

The track bar bracket is on hold, to appease the wife I installed a new shower curtain yesterday.

Tonight I am taking her out for an early Valentines day dinner;we are going to have a baby any day now and celebrating ON V-day just isn't in the cards.

Hope to have more progress later this week... supposed to be warmer too.

Default Valentines Day 2010... BACK AT IT AGAIN!

Well, after almost two weeks of not doing ANYTHING other than having a baby , I was back in the garage today:

A big thank you goes out to my loving wife: She TOLD me to go work on the jeep.

She took care of the baby, and I went out and made some progress...

I was pretty fed up with the track bar last time I was working on it, so that was what I came back to first:

It still needs to be boxed in and terminated at the upper mounting bolts, but this is what it's going to look.

Drag link and track bar all line up!

like.

Then I moved on to the shock hoop; that too had been kicking my ***.

I bent up some more tube, and it's DAMN close to perfect. I MIGHT tweak it just another degree or so.

Should be getting some more progress these coming nights, but only if the baby is quiet.

-Chris
