Default BASE CAMP

after selling my F350 i was looking for an XJ like my old 95 but newer. i live in northern maine and most are rusted out up here, so a buddy of mine found this salvaged cherokee in boston on auction and had it shipped up. i have other pics of the damage but on my other camera that is missing. it was hit in the rear, damaged rear hatch and drivers quarter. when bought we had no idea the leaf springs were damaged and the transfer case was as well. so after some screwing around i got it all on the road (except bumper) and ready to go. some other bugs needed to be worked out, but it was finally ready to be modded. the plans are a fishing/hunting/roadtrip buggy

Looks pretty clean. I think the bumper end caps dont really flow with it. paint to match would be pretty cool! just my thought though...

what are you going to do to her?

ended up selling my Chevelle and decided to really get this ball rolling. ordered and installed a 3" RC AAL with an additional leaf on each side so no sag w/ boat motor and cooler and camping gear in rear. (works well too) 31" good year wrangler at's, built a rear bumper and got a cheap roof rack from a friend. 2x4's on rack for the fishing boat.

was in the middle of posting to get to the bumper pics. i plan on a front bumper, lights, rear tire carrier, finding a way to mount my 5 hp outboard in the rear and winch. have other plans but those are on the mind to get ready for end of fishing season/ begining of hunting season. as well as hi lift and shovel mount inside of rack.

now to the most recent, an 8.8 i shaved the mounts off and left alone while i decided to become debt free so i could blow all this money on the jeep. 1 inch coil spacers, rough country wheel spacers, rough country sway bar disconnects and the solid rear/ front end covers. still in transit... 8.8 swap kit from iron rock offroad as well as the i inch shackles and 3.73 gears for the front

Your jeep is lookin awesome bro! Glad to see you your finally updating your build thread so I can keep track of all your mods. Love the prerunner hoops. Your jeep is going through a total transformation from when I last saw it. When are you going to build rack? Can't wait to see it. Great job!
