Here's how it sits right now. Without the rear lift done.

Should get done this week.
I plan on painting the rims again and the caps too. Any advice with that? I read somewhere that rustoleum makes a decent bedliner spray on that would work.
oh yeah...its my birthday today to me

The gf got me some new floormats for my bday. My other ones were an ugly gray that were just gross. Upgraded to some nice new black michelins. Large enough to cover up my disgusting carpets.

you should put the stockcoil spring isolaters back in to get the full 3", and they also will help keep the coils put!

The directions i got said to remove them. I questioned it too. If the lift isn't level when i do the rear, ill put them back on. And I couldn't imagine those coils going anywhere, even with a super ultra crazy flex which ill never do. They had to be hammered and pryed in there.
plus i got coil clamps on there too

Default lots of pics

Decided to put the pics of the rear lift. Totally forgot about. 2 new RC leaf packs and new BDS shocks. After we were done, the lift looked huge in the back but after a couple weeks it seems like its not as high anymore so i assumed it settled at little bit. I have pretty bad vibes coming from the rear ds i think so im going to try a TC drop.
Everything on the lift was a pain in the as$ to take off and put on and it took much longer than anticipated. I went through like 4 cans of PB blaster and it barely made a difference. Tell me what you guys think.

The old leafs didn't want to come out so we said fck it and just cut them out.

new leafs look awesome.

After its been settling for a couple weeks. Rear doesn't look as high.

Default Looks Great

I used rustoleum paint on my rims and caps. I have an air compressor so I sprayed them with a gun. I spent more time sanding and priming (red oxide) then I shot 4 coats of satin black on them. It was back in the summer so I also let them bake in the sun between coats. Your XJ looks great !
My next project is a trailer hitch/rear hooks and lights!

We also installed the fan shroud I bought a freakin month ago. Also installed new water temp sensor. We all know what those look like so no pics needed. Check engine light is now gone.

I noticed a few degree drop with the hood vents and fan shroud installed. Nothing dramatic but worth it. Right before the 210 marker. I plan on getting some spray on silicone, if it exists, my dad says it does, and spray my injectors and dist cap

Lift should get done this week. I'm getting my shocks on tuesday, BDS 5500.
Hey, where did you get these vents? I'd love to put some on my XJ.
Thanks
