Hey guys! You may know me from my 1999 XJ thread here.
New thread for my 2001 jeep XJ. Purchased back in 2021.
It's been at my friends paint shop for a few years (backburner project)
Painting it the factory PG8 "Forest Green Pearl" color.
I will use this thread to update modifications and service history as I perform them on the Jeep.

Excellent color choice!
What is the end goal and purpose for this on this one? Offroad capable DD or more extensive than that?

Got her back from the paint shop, just gotta install fender flares. Also the OE fuel pump died, so I will drop the tank soon to replace.
Took 2.5 months to get around to it, but I finally replaced the fuel pump.
I was getting zero pressure and awful noise from the 26 year old OEM pump with 172,000 miles on it.
Looks like the fuel strainer disintegrated and the fuel pump sucked it right up inside. Turned to powder in my hands.
Also installed new rubber fuel hoses.
