sweet sweet pics man. A buddy of mine went down there. He invited me to go but I couldnt make it. After seeing your pics though I will definitely be going next year. Holy crap thats alot of jeeps in one place.
Side note: I love the fact that your towing with another xj. How well does it pull? My wife has an 01 sport 2wd and I have often thought about trying to tow with it. Cant afford to get a tow rig right now. Still dropping money into this xj. I have a ride 5hrs away coming up in a couple weeks and you may have inspired me to try this lol

The main white XJ I took pictures of isn't mine, hes my good buddy from Miami, his name is El Nino here on Cherokeeforum. The XJ was origionally his brothers, that's who built it. His brother has since gone to the dark side and is building a monster YJ. But he bought the black XJ as a Daily Driver, so I guess he's not all bad.
It's a decent setup. I've towed my big XJ with both my stock 2wd ZJ and my stock 2wd XJ, keep it under 65 mph and it'll do fine. ABS is really nice to have, as is trailer brakes. He didn't get bad gas mileage either, averaged 13 mpg towing his brothers XJ.
I have the little 2wd white XJ with the tire on the roof. When we were in line for the parade, I got stuck 3 times on the beach, so I did half the parade with a tow strap to my buddies red YJ to pull me along.
Also, got to talk to Rusty from Rustys Offroad for awhile, and Tony who works there and R&D's alot of their stuff. Figured out my control arm issue with them, and bought a 3" drop pitman arm and a hat for a good deal.
And I told him I'm disappointed their not on CF yet.
I SEE YOU!!!
Lmao, going back through my pictures, I didn't realized I snapped a quick picture of your XJ! I was just trying to take a shot of every XJ I saw.
Good meeting you guys too, next year I'll buy ya a beer!
Seriously awesome time. See yall in Ocala for Jeeptoberfest!!

I know i'll probably get hate mail for sayin' it, but it's cool to see a bunch of Jeeps (including CJs and Wranglers) showing people why Jeep vehicles are the best at what we do. It would be cool to see some SJs in the mix too! I like 'em all, as long as they are built for wheelin'!

Yeah, was really cool. The beach gig was awesome.
The coolest part for me IMHO was that my friend Kobi (red YJ) and his brother are from Israel, my friends El Nino and his Brother are from Columbia, and the chick with us in her TJ is Venezuelan, and I'm an Irish boy lost in the South, but Jeeps brought us together as great friends. To me, that speaks volumes.
