Default Project Desert Scorpion

I've had this Jeep for a few Years now and I figured I should start a build thread. I have an 88 Jeep Cherokee with a rebuilt AW4, a Dana 30 front and a Dana turdy-five rear. Probably one of the cleanest Cherokees that I've even seen when I got it but the PO cared more about the looks.

My goal for this Jeep is to make it an Overland explorer type Jeep. I want it to be able to go where I want and have almost everything I need in order to be able to survive for a week or so.
Some things that I want to do to it....
-One-ton axles
-36's or bigger
-32 gallon gas tank
-Internal roll cage
-Coil overs front and rear (May keep the leaf springs)
-Front stinger bumper with a built in air tank
-Rear tire carrier with built in drinking water tank
-Full length and width roof rack with lights
-Either a 4.6L stroker engine or turbocharged or supercharged engine
-Lots of other little stuff!
Ill try to update the thread as soon as I can but i am going to school.

Default Update of progress so far!

Since I first got it I've done a few things to it...
-I put some boat exhaust vents and used them as hood vents
-I did a put-it-together-yourself lift so to speak. Its a 3.5" lift, Rubicon Express Leaf springs, Pro-comp sway bar end links, home made extended and stronger lower control arms, 3.5" Rubicon express coils, extended brake lines, bilistein shocks front and rear for about a 5.5" lift to have extra down travel, SYE in the rear with a Adams drive shaft.
-CB antenna with the mount on the roof in the gap between the body and the hatch
-The 4.6L stroker motor that I just got running (Still needs injectors, a new exhaust system, and a better intake)
-auxiliary fan with switch control and stock control unit
-bigger transmission cooler
-31" tires

Best Picture i have at the moment of my hood vents.

Right after the lift on stock tires...

Best picture and most recent picture that I have of it flexing has the entire lift on it and the 31" tires and the sway bars are connected.

Not a lot but its getting closer!
