Aluminum triple fan shroud - Fan mounting

Mounting up my cooling fans to my aluminum fan shroud.

Laid out the fans and marked all the mounting locations using a center punch.
Drilled all the holes using a 1/8" bit, then a 1/4" bit.

Mounted the fans using 1/4" bolts 3/4" length, lock washers and nuts.
Here's a radiator side view.

Bad blower motor & resistor

old blower motor was non-functioning
Your removal won't be as easy as mine was, since I don't have AC I no longer have any AC components.

new motor installed and i'm happy and warm again

replaced old blower motor resistor - always replace the resistor when replacing a blower motor

looks delicious

the blower motor resistor is located on the passenger side under the glove box.
there is a plastic kick plate/cover that will just pop off.

the electrical connector has a red tamper proof plug that Chrysler loves to use just pop that off and press the tab to release the connector.

If that bumper only uses the stock 8 bolts, I wouldn't trust it pulling a trailer, or being recovered. They only mount to a thin metal crossmember and I've seen many pictures of the mounts ripping off.

I would have to agree. Bumper looks great, But there is nothing tying it into the frame.

I came across a bumper/tire carrier that mounted much the same way. But it also has some angle iron tying the bumper under the frame much like a tow hitch does. Thanks to someone on here sharing his experience with his tire carrier that tied into the frame the same way. (It almost ripped completely off). I decided to do like so many others and make something to slide into the frame rail and reinforce the bumper mounts. So far it is holding up well.

if you order from area fab, they didn't even offer frame tie ins till I made him make me a custom set. I wasn't about to tow from those dinky 8 bolts. I twisted my 3/16 plate bumper. Imagine what would've happened if I only had those 8 bolts there.

Time to upgrade the stock headlight harness to the Putco harness and H4 bulbs

I kept burning out those plug and play LED bulbs, not enough room for cooling.
