Cheap way of maximizing shock length...

They are just some 1.5" square tubing with flat bar tabs welded to them.
I measured all 4 corners for the compression length and drilled holes to maximize the use out of the unused portions.

No, spent today swapping in new brake lines.
Had to get a new flaring tool and I had to replace two fittings on the hard lines.

Uwharrie Tomrrow for the Weekend!

Even though it took much longer than just our lunch break, those new lines were worth it. They sure to look purdy

Fun weekend at Uwharrie.
Damage report:

1) AdamK broke his passenger side axle shaft at the ears.
2) Friend in a Taco broke his passenger side CV
3) UJoint went out in my rear drive shaft at the axle. Luckily caught it before it completely broke, it only stretched one of the straps.

Additionally we also Broke the ujoint in one of the RC cars & Broke the Drive Shaft in the other RC car.

Also, did a little trail side mod as the 35's were rubbing part of the fender, 4LB sledge took care of that area.

Here's pictures:

Bought a used Rustys TCase Skid for a good price.

First thing I did was cut it up...

Mocked up the bottom

Then got it all tacked to shape

Big thanks to Adam K for doing the welding

Weld testing RTI ramp

The little harbor freight welder did what it needed to, going to take it to the shop Monday and finish welding it with the millar.
