I'm hoping to have mine together by the middle of August, then I'm going to do a shake down run at gulches. Then we have club rides at gulches in September, URE in October, either AOP or Morris mountain for the November trip and Harlan for the December trip. I ran across you last fall when we had a trip to URE. It would be sweet to see you out on the trails again and actually wheel a bit together. I know a few people who went to the ride up in harlan. A black Cherokee with half doors tons and 40s and a red Cherokee that broke
Oh that all makes since now, you're in Clemson's Offloads Club.
I used to hang around on their forum like 10 years ago.
We did the Waterfall and Railbed together and later watched them do the Rock Race.

Well it's kind of ironic I haven't updated this thread since the NAXJA Crawl last July.
This past year while making plans for the 2020 Corona Crawl at Harlan I made the last minute decision to sell the XJ.
Never was something I thought I'd do but I've parted ways with the XJ after 13 years of ownership and over 80K miles.
It served everything from a DD, Weekend Warrior, Overlander, Rock crawler and was headed toward a dedicated crawler.
I decided that the Cherokee was too good as it was to be turned into a dedicated crawler as I've seen to many great builds die a terrible death as a crawler.
So the New Owner is happy to have hold of it and plans to keep it as a Overlander.
The New Rig is a Truggy built off of a 69' Early Bronco
