So let's play this out...

I give you some dealership price tag ...

You start getting...

So then this begins...

However, it might be entertaining for others...

But in all seriousness I wanted to measure just how much of the original 20/32 (.625") tread was left:

1) .264" = 42.2%
2) .253" = 40.5%
3) .309" = 49.4%
4) .165" = 26.4%
5) .163" (Spare)

So that's still $300 dollars worth of rubber

But the tires while not leaking are chunked & cut up; so you just "talked" me down 33%.

So come give me $200 dollars cash so you can use my old rubbers for your girlfriend
lol... I see what ya did there.

Very entertaining post indeed.

Well, I swapped in the anti-roll spacers I made late last night.
Wanted to give it a once over and grease everything today when I got home.

It'll be there tomorrow

Well been busy gathering parts over the last couple months.

Installed a mini fire extinguisher:

Picked up a bunch of spare 44 shafts, including a complete passenger side cromo set. Also picked up a set of 44 warn premium lockout to keep as spares.

Here's the set of shafts I'm going to run fully assembled with new 760x joints.
I'll be using the set in the jeep currently as the trail spares:

The Cromo Shaft set are machined for full circle clips:

Some grinder work made the stock shafts accept full circle clips as well:

Hey in other news the Jeep got 19mpg all highway on the last fill up!

You have just made me put another item on my to do list. I currently have my old shaft/hub assembly out of my Dana 30 after I swapped out my axles as spares, but you got me thinking of what to do in the near future. I think I'll try and go to the J.Y. and find me some shafts out of a newer model XJ (98-99?) to up-grade the u-joints (re-build w/ new u-joints) and sell the ones I pull to some one as spares. That way I'll be running something sound with a spare to get me home.
