Jeep is at the shop getting a rear brake makeover. New shoes, fluid flush, new wheel cylinders on both sides. Cost a pretty penny... oh well.

Now, this went from 30 dollars to a "pretty penny". I think I would have done it myself to avoid the pretty penny.

No worries. I had my wheels swapped out at lunch and got robbed. They charged me 15 bucks per wheel and then I had to get different lug nuts at $1.25 each.

ROBBED!

My new shop will have a tire changer in it.

How does it ride with the 35s and stock gears? Just curious if it's like a big deal over 33's.

Good idea to get the brakes done too. If your gonna do the wheel cylinder you might as well. I broke both of mine on my rust bucket 96. Lol

I leave it in 3rd gear and its not too bad, I was cruising at 70 on my way home right around 2k rpms. From a stop to about 30 is where you can really feel em. I dont try to haul though.

I hear you on that. I can't wait to get the gearing done. But I'll be honest. I'm really happy and surprised that my gas mileage didn't take too much of a hit. It's really all in how you drive. You can have your foot it in at 2k doing 30 or you can go easy and be at 1700 doing 30...but it will be really fun to drive when you regear and your spinning those 35's like nothing.

I'm thinking about getting the drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads that vendor has on here. The 35s probably had something to do with that wheel cylinder giving out.
