Have a 98 sport and the rear is shot, I can get a stock Dana 35 from a 93 wrangler would these be compatible?

While I don't know the answer to that question... I can offer an alternate solution: You can for sure get a Chrysler 8.25 rear end and it's a direct swap. If you can, go for the 29 spline which I think came on the 97+ Cherokees. The 8.25 is a good upgrade for the XJ.

The ONLY thing to consider is if you have ABS on your XJ, cause you'd have to pull the fuses for the ABS system once installing the 8.25 rear end since it isn't ABS compatible.

Anyway, I just got done going through that with pretty darn good success, so if you decide to go that route and have any questions, feel free to ask

Thanks that's an avenue I can look into, its just that I can get the wrangler rear for next to nothing
