Great build by the way. I'm very interested in your bumper design and can't wait to see it installed.

Thanks, I'm about as north as you can get, I'm almost "on" the columbia river, and eastern. Outside of Hermiston, OR

I used to drive that way 4 times a year when I drove from Spokane, WA to Portland to visit family. Hermiston is a great area with phenomenal watermelons. One time I brought one to a concert at the Gorge in George, WA. Oh hey, is the Pheasant diner in Umatilla still running? We'd stop there every time we passed for grub and shakes.

Yah I have a lot of stuff to make a nice shop (plasma cutter, tubing bender, welder, air compressor, engine lifts and stands, assortment of parts, etc.etc.) All stuck in a not so nice shop but it works.

ok, ran into some trouble getting the holes lined up for the bumper mount till i thought of this. tape some paper to the frame and use a crayon or color pencil to shade the holes.

got the holes drilled

mounted a ford starter solenoid

changed the battery cable terminals to a marine style (still need to nix the speaker wire lol)

dad putting the grill back in, we put it in upside down so we didnt have to cut it to fit, did have to trim the trim ring though.

all installed

the mounts tie into the steering box bolts

It just helps regulate the power the winch is pulling. it won't be as hard on the charging system when doing long pulls. Basicly the same thing as a superwinch slave solenoid (or other brands), just cheaper.

Thanks, I was trying to keep the winch out of the way of the airflow to the radiator, and was still able to get more clearance than the stock bumper.

today i mounted my tractor lights, and wired in my switch for the winch

and i threw this together today, im going hunting and dont want to put the extra gas cans in the cab. also i can fit the ice chest on it and the gas cans. its not totally finished but its done enough to work.

and the rear hatch just barely rubs the gas can when opening.
