went hunting yesterday, or atleast we tried but the sbow was still a little too deep, at least for my little jeep.
me pulling cable
dad running the controls
first we tried to winch through because we could see dry dirt in front of us but it was too deep in between and i was smoking my clutch and killing my battery (even with the slave solenoid, need to work on that one) so we dug out under and behind since we had made a trail by now. took us 2 hours from stuck to unstuck. had a suburban drive by stop and look at us digging and just take off, i so wish i had seen them stuck later.

yesterday and today i started on my swing out rear bumper, and i trimmed the fenders.
this is how far the mounts stick into the "frame"
i love my plasma cutter lol
looks good to me
heres the base to my swing out carrier
looks like it sticks out far but after i get the swing out on it, the jerry can, spare tire, and hi lift, it should take up some of the space.
instead of pulling the flare i just ran my air nibbler around the outside of the flare and its good.

earlier this week i pulled the small tractor lights off the front of the jeep and installed a set of 7" slim profile procomps i had laying around. definately better, i also have a set of HELLA 500FF's sitting there but trying to figure out where i want to mount them. i dont really want to put them on the top, was thinking the back corners of the hood but i dont know if they would be in the way there. yesterday i bought a set of sylvania silverstar headlights, i have ran these before and they really help at night. today i picked up a small tach (dont exactly have alot of room on the dash lol) from work before i left.
To finish this post, i just ordered 2 cam locks keyed the same from http://www.mcmaster.com/# for just over $10. i am planning on building a new center console for the jeep that moves the deck down to the area where the ashtray is now (with a locking cover), slide the park brake forward, build 2 cup holders, and a new locking storage area (second lock).

nice work on the rear man looks like it will be good. i would just stick to 31's if you don't want to regear that way you don't put to much strain on the clutch when you are out wheeling plus the 31's are huge compared to stock. but you cut out more then enough for 33 if you want to do the gearing later on down the line

got quite a bit done today and might have finished but i ran out of gas for the welder. so heres the pics
my dad helping me out
holding 2 jerry cans almost doubles my miles (the holes in the metal were there when i got it, the whole bumper and swing out are scrap metal)
i put the 2 uprights for the can holders closer in and that is where my license plate will go and the new plate light.
just seeing how it will look

got my swing out carrier about 85% done and got it mounted on the jeep. the spare tire is sitting a little higher than i thought it would but i have about 3"s i can drop it if need be. theres still a few things i might change but so far its pretty solid.
the new lights i mounted on the front.
