I didn't even think about the control arms.... I have adjustibe RE lowers on it now, but haven't adjusted them at all yet. The alignment is way off. I still haven't put the adjustible trackbar on either, so I planned of dialing everything in together. When I bring the angle back down in front that will move the axle out some. We'll see how it goes. I sent the pictures to my son. He wants to put the Rusty's fenders on and then see how it looks with 33's and 32's.

Im curious to which one he is interested in, the rustys fenders which are a complete fiberglass unit that buldge 6 inches out. Pic,

or the rustys flares. Pic,

Both are sweet but I wouldnt want to bump anything, like a rock or tree, with the fiberglass fenders... But both would give you the extra clearence for those 33's. That xj is gonna look great!!! keep up the good work.

BigRed,
I'm going with the rubberized fender flares (not fiberglass). I'm hoping it comes out just like the picture of the orange XJ.

I installed a K&N intake today. The old intake (don't know what brand it was) would not pass CA smog test because it didn't have a CARB sticker It should be good now.

The only real difference was that the K&N had a CA smog CARB sticker. This smog thing in CA is a crock to make it more expensive to own a 4x4 or modify any vehicle...thanks Nancy Pelosi

I got the XJ passed on smog today and also installed the new Hanson front bumper. I think it looks great, but it needs a winch. Rusty's flares and tires are coming soon.
